From Fragmentation to Coordination
This July is a coordination moment. At Assembly: Chicago this June, we heard one pattern clearly: mission alone is not infrastructure. The organizations and people that thrive are the ones intentionally building networks, clarity, and systems that align.
Real people—founders, investors, civic leaders, organizers—are moving fast right now, and there’s a concentrated window of opportunities to move with them rather than behind them. Whether you’re scaling a team, deepening civic voice, or finding trusted networks, this month’s slate of opportunities connects isolation to collective power.
Some deadlines are tight. These are real opportunities with real catalysts. We’re tracking them here.
What We’re Building: Assembly Series
The Wealth Salons exists to build community infrastructure for wealth-building and power-building. That work happens in tools, yes—but it also happens in rooms.
This June, we hosted Assembly: Chicago, a curated convening of nonprofit leaders, systems thinkers, and ecosystem connectors working to strengthen organizations and clarify impact.

Assembly: Chicago — What We Learned
Small group. Real conversation. Intentional focus: What actually makes organizations durable, legible, and fundable?
The room surfaced three patterns we’re still sitting with:
Mission alone is not infrastructure. Strong work becomes fragile when strategy, operating systems, and reporting discipline don’t reinforce one another.
Legibility shapes opportunity. Funders, boards, partners need to understand not just what you believe, but how you decide, measure, and follow through.
Readiness is a practice, not a performance. Durable organizations build through repeatable systems, honest assessment, and aligned execution.
Attendees rated the experience 5/5 and left with a valuable connection, something new to act on, and interest in supporting future events.
Partner With Us on Future Assemblies
We’re building this series across The Great 38™. If you’re working with communities, funders, nonprofits, or ecosystem builders—let’s talk about hosting together → We design convenings that move from insight to useful connection.
Tool Highlight: Culture Clash
Just dropped: Culture Clash — a fast, social culture game where curiosity counts and receipts matter.
Culture Clash treats culture as alive—not fixed. You score based on one short round of play (not your identity, intelligence, or belonging). The real point: keep learning. Players bring evidence, question assumptions, and contribute to a more credible shared experience. Built for culture lovers, not culture gatekeeping.
July Opportunities:
We’ve curated verified, high-signal opportunities across The Great 38™. All open now. Some deadlines are tight.
Featured Opportunity
Pipeline Angels Open House + 2026 Fall Cohort — National/Virtual
Pipeline Angels offers angel-investing education for people who identify with womanhood or femmehood and meet its accredited-investor eligibility requirements. Applications for the Fall 2026 program are rolling, with priority given to eligible applicants who apply by July 31.
Priority deadline: July 31, 2026
Why it matters: All-women founding teams continue to receive only a small share of venture funding. Expanding who participates in angel investing can help broaden the networks and perspectives shaping capital allocation.

From the Field
This month’s opportunities aren’t just about access—they’re about infrastructure and timing. Every option here builds or strengthens networks: investor circles, founder cohorts, ambassador networks, tech communities.
At Assembly: Chicago, we heard it directly: mission alone is not infrastructure. Organizations that survive, scale, and attract real partnership have clarity on how they decide, how they measure impact, and how they follow through. The same logic applies to you as an individual—the opportunities that stick are the ones connected to networks and community.
That’s why we surface both: tools for clarity, opportunities for connection, and convenings where real partnership happens. July’s tight deadlines mean deciding now, but the real win is the community you’ll be part of long after the deadline passes.
Your people are looking for you just as much as you’re looking for them.
Next Month
In August, we’re releasing new Groundwork updates (reflecting your feedback), sharing early learnings from the Assembly Series, and surfacing early-September opportunities for those already planning ahead.
